The Duke Ellington Project is a one year project ensemble created to study the music and impact of Duke Ellington. This group is running during the 2017-2018 school year and will return to the Festival Jazz Band designation in 2018-2019.

This is an auditioned group made up of the highest level of performers at Westford Academy. Woodwind/brass and percussion players are expected to be part of the regular band curriculum to audition.
